Climate
Turkey has a mediterranean climate of hot summers and mild winters in the marmara, aegean and mediterranean coastal regions. the Black Sea coast is temperate, with warm summers, mild winters and relatively high rainfall. Central anatolia has a ‘steppe’ climate,with hot, dry summers and cold winters; eastern anatolia has mild summers and long, cold winters with plenty of snow; South eastern anatolia has a combination of hot summers and mild, wet winters.
