Hilton Barra Hotel opened in Rio de Janeiro

The Secretary of Tourism, Antonio Pedro Figueira de Mello, said that the hotel is an asset to the “Marvelous City” contributing for the increase of the number of rooms available to host the Olympic Games tourists in 2016.

The Hilton Barra features a contemporary design and architecture who value style and the Brazilian culture, while contributing to the reduction of water and energy consumption. The entrance to the hotel features a lobby of monumental scale, with 37 meters high, which in the evening, works like a giant lamp covering all building floors. Important local artists participated in the project with their creations and they developed a unique visual identity element present throughout the hotel. An outdoor garden, rich in colors and textures, complete the exclusive design.
